Overview
In a dynamic transformative business landscape, the role of a CFO is more pivotal than ever before. To effectively steer financial leadership within your organisation, CFO's must evolve into strategic business partners, influencing and driving the organisation's goals. 
Recognising the value of your time, we have condensed a comprehensive six-month series into an intensive two-day CFO course incorporating over 75 CFO tools. We believe that experiential learning is fundamental to mastering any role. In this CFO Workshop you will progress your skills whilst networking in a supportive environment toward your future CFO role.

Through this workshop, you will advance your skills while fostering valuable connections in a supportive environment, preparing you for your future role as a CFO. The CFO of the Future courses, developed by the Founder of CFO training, Mr. John Petty, are the most successful CFO courses delivered by experienced CFO's.

Learnings
Today's dynamic rapidly evolving technologies are having a major impact on organisations placing great pressure on the CFO, demanding high level skills. Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be equipped to:

  • Implement technical skills and leadership management strategies immediately within their organisation.

  • Cultivate finance teams and interpret financial architecture and blockchain technology for real-time reporting and enhanced business partnerships.

  • Utilise best practice tools and techniques employed by leading CFOs.

  • Apply strategic methodologies to offer business analytical insights using performance metrics, facilitating improved and meaningful communication in both upstream and  downstream reporting.

  • Redefine budgets, forecasts, and closing systems to integrate and drive team performance effectively.

  • Identify and address risks while applying risk management principles, with consideration of integrated sustainability reporting and cyber risks.​

Course Structure
The course is conducted over two days, that entails six modules:

  1. Leading a Champion CFO Team

  2. CFO Driving Corporate Strategy

  3. Redefining Business Performance Management

  4. Managing through the Measures That Matter

  5. CFO as the Strategic Revenue and Strategic Cost Manager

  6. Sustainability, ESG and Risk Management

 A digital handbook is available, to facilitate real-time note-taking and provide interactive worksheets for your personal use. Please note that laptops and iPads will not be provided, so kindly bring your own devices and backup charges. Mobile phones are not recommended for this purpose. 

Upon active participation and successful completion of the workshop, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, which can be included in your CV portfolio.

Who will Benefit from the CFO program?

Our profession necessitates it, and the evolving technologies mandate that both current and aspiring CFO’s remain at the forefront of their expertise. This program is particularly beneficial for Finance Managers, Financial Controllers and incumbent CFO's. To derive the maximum benefit from the program, attendees should be at the minimum level of Financial Controllers or Finance Managers. Proficiency in English, encompassing reading, writing, speaking, and listening, at an Academic IELTS assessed score of 8.5 or above, is required.
